Apollo was designed by the late Ben Lexcen who also designed the winner of the 1983 Americas Cup. Fully refitted for charter work in the Whitsundays in 1998 and again in late 2004.
You will stop at Whitehaven Beach the jewel of the Whitsundays and take a walk on the world famous white sand as well as have time for snorkeling on fantastic fringing reefs. Apollo carries a maximum of 26 passengers and 4 crew in open plan accommodation on her Whitsunday Island sailing trip.
If you would like to participate in the sailing of Apollo our crew will be happy to show you the ropes, if you would prefer to laze around in the sun and watch you can do so and take in the magnificent Whitsundays view, the choice is yours.
A good variety of meals are prepared daily on Apollo by our hostess using fresh local produce, vegetarians can be catered for with advance notice. Apollo does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Onboard Scuba Diving available 1st dive is free. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge on this Whitsundays Sailing trip.
