Maxi yachts, 83ft British Defender carries a
maximum of 26 Guests and 4 enthusiastic crew members on this great Whitsundays sailing trip.
British Defender is a high tech Whitbread Around World Racing Maxi that was raced by the British Armed Services in the 1990 Around World Race. 83ft in length and 20ft wide the vessel has plenty of room to move.
Refitted in 2001 British Defender has three toilets and showers, 2 dining tables and a massive interior with over 6ft headroom throughout.
You can participate in the sailing of British Defender or just take it easy on deck taking in the magnificent Whitsundays view, the choice is yours. Fast sailing to the very best locations on each day according to wind and tide, Whitehaven Beach is visited on each trip.
A good variety of meals are supplied using fresh local produce, vegetarians can be catered for with advance notice. British Defender does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Scuba Diving is available on request on British Defender and is AU$75.00 per dive available from rendevous with a Whitsundays dive boat. However this is not guaranteed. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge.
