Description:
From South Africa Broomstick was built to win the
Capetown to Rio Yacht race. She has also competed in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and many other events in her life.
Departing from Shute Harbour Broomstick is big, comfortable and fast, she was refitted in 2001 to commence charter work in the Whitsundays. The award winning boat and crew will take you to the very best locations in the Whitsunday Islands and weather permitting out to the Great Barrier Reef.
If fast and thrilling is what you are after Broomstick will deliver. You will stop at Whitehaven Beach on your Whitsundays sailing trip and take a walk on the world famous white sand as well as have time for snorkeling on fantastic fringing reefs.
A good variety of meals are prepared daily by our hostess on Broomstick using fresh local produce, vegetarians can be catered for with advance notice. Broomstick does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Scuba Diving is available on request on Broomstick and is AU$75.00 per dive and AU$60.00 per dive thereafter. A dive package is available for AU$240.00. However this is not guaranteed. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge.
