Enid is a 66 foot Ketch built in 1961 and after her racing days undergoing a $700,000 refit.
Enid completed four Sydney to Hobart yacht races as well as races in Queensland. A classic sailing sailing vessel Enid is available for private charter or for 3 day 2 night crewed charters sailing the Whitsunday Islands.
A typical Whitsundays sailing itinerary can include a day spent on Whitehaven Beach, a bush walk at Hill Inlet and dinner under the stars at Nara Inlet at Hook Island, a bush walk to see aboriginal rock art caves or a trip to Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island. Weather and tide conditions dictate destinations on each day.
Enid takes a maximum of 17 passengers and crew on each trip.
Freshly prepared Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is provided a good variety of dishes is provided daily and special dietry requirements can be catered for with advance notice when booking. Enid does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Enid will attempt to rendevous with a Whitsundaysdive boat for those who wish to scuba dive this is not always possible but usually is not a problem. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge.
