New Horizon is under new ownership.
At 75ft New Horizon is one of the last solid timber ketch boats still in service, built in Tasmania with famous Tasmanian hardwood New Horizon has the feel and atmosphere of an old world sailing vessel.
Sailing the Whitsunday Islands on New Horizon a shorter Whitsundays budget trip, guests will enjoy sailing to pristine Whitsundays locations with the option to scuba dive.
New Horizon is better suited to the younger traveller looking to travel with other young people in a party style atmosphere. Being an older vessel this Whitsundays budget trip is priced accordingly.
Freshly prepared Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is provided a good variety of dishes is provided daily and special dietry requirements can be catered for with advance notice when booking. New Horizon does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
New Horizon carries her own scuba tanks, your first certified or introductory dive is free and after that there is a charge for each dive. Intro Day Dives $55.00 2nd Intro Dive $45.00 Certified Day Dive $50.00 2nd Certified Day dive $45.00. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge.
Extra Costs*:
Price does not include Reef tax, Fuel Levy, Administration charges and Marine Park Management pay onboard fees & Stinger suit hire AU$50.00 per person.
Included:
New Horizon includes Hot Showers (share shower/toilet), Fresh Linen (bring your own towels), freshly prepared gourmet meals and snorkel gear. Vegetarians catered for with advance notice.
What to Bring:
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, towels, swimmers, rubber soled sandshoes and sandals, warm jumper, shorts, T/Shirts, camera all in a small soft bag. Excess luggage should be left on the mainland. Secure lock up facilities are available in Airlie Beach reservations will advise when checking in.

Advance bookings are essential. A deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable on arrival for departure. Balance amount is pre-authorised on your credit card.
