Description:
Providence is an older style tallship carrying a maximum of 14 passengers and 3 crew on an unforgettable tallship Whitsundays adventure through the Whitsunday Islands.
With Masts and 8 Sails Providence is a fine example of a half size Gloucester timber schooner. Gaffed rigged Providence is sailed by purely traditional methods and you are welcome to join in sailing the boat if you wish, or you can just take it easy and watch as the sails fill and the boat gets underway.
You will visit stunning locations such as Whitehaven beach and snorkel the very best Whitsundays fringing reefs that are available in accordance with the wind and tide on each day. From the moment you step aboard Providence you will feel the old world atmosphere as you embark on a trip of a lifetime.
A good variety of meals are supplied using fresh Whitsundays local produce, vegetarians can be catered for with advance notice. Providence does not serve alcohol so you are able to BYO (no glass please).
Providence Scuba Diving and Snorkeling:
Scuba Diving is available on request and is AU$75.00 per dive available from rendevous with a Whitsundays dive boat. However this is not guaranteed. Snorkeling is free of charge and all snorkel gear is provided free of charge.
Extra Costs*:
Price does not include Reef tax, Fuel Levy, Administration charges and Marine Park Management pay onboard fees. Stinger suit hire AU$15.00 per person compulsory during Stinger season (1st Oct to 31st May).
Included:
Providence includes Hot Showers (no ensuites), Fresh Linen (bring your own towels), freshly prepared meals and snorkel gear.
What to Bring:
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, towels, swimmers, rubber soled sandshoes and sandals, warm jumper, shorts, T/Shirts, camera all in a small soft bag. Excess luggage should be left on the mainland. Secure lock up facilities are available in Airlie Beach reservations will advise when checking in.

Advance bookings are essential. A deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable on arrival for departure.
